Musings on life

My sister and her love for panda.

We recently went to River Safari in Singapore. She loves photography. She had fun throughout the trip taking pics of all the animals and fishes at river safari.

The main highlight of the day was the great panda. I knew that she loved pandas ..but didn’t expect this reaction from her.. she was super excited and happy to see one for real.

There was this beautiful lovely smile on her face when she saw panda… aww i love that smile on her face. Pandas are usually a very shy animal , they usually stay in there den sort of cave that was built for them in the zoo. Much to our delight, this time the panda came and sat right in front of us and sat eating food. This was more than enough for my little sis to start clicking selfies and pictures of the panda.
We( my parents and me) were overjoyed seeing her happiness. There was this charming innocent smile on her face while she watched the panda play and eat.
I was standing beside her and watching the panda as well. She said “Ohh by the way pandas are vegetarian .. there was just one panda in Singapore river safari. They are almost endemic species on earth. Though the statistics taken in 2014 onwards does show a rise in the number of pandas on earth”. This was more like a running commentary from her side as the panda kept chewing on the bambo stems and leaves.
She had done enough research on pandas already , i did figure that out by now.

Its a great incentive seeing people do research on topics of their interest. Positive habit this one really is. It’s not necessary that you learn things only from people elder to you. Sometimes, younger ones and their passion does teach us few lessons.
