Indonesian Cuisines
1. Satay- Delicious grilled meat skewered on sticks and served with spicy seasoning along with sauce. Most commonly the Satay is served with peanut and soy sauce.

2. Nasi Goreng: The word literally translates to (Nasi-Rice,Goreng- Fried).Hence, Ayam Nasi Goreng means Chicken Fried Rice. This is a must try among the dishes in Indonesian cuisine.

3. Gado-Gado: Among Salads this one’s a must try. The dish consists of a mix of Steamed vegetables, fried tofu and boiled eggs and is served with chilli peanut sauce.

4. Mie Goreng: Mie Goreng literally translates to Spicy Fried Noodles. This flavoured and spicy fried noodles is also called as Bakmi Goreng.

5. Kari Ayam: Kari Ayam translates to Curry Chicken. For those who love spicy curry this creamy and spicy chicken curry is a cool option.

6. Ayam Bakar: This is charcoal grilled Chicken. Ayam Bakar literally means Roasted Chicken, ( Ayam- Chicken, Bakar- Roasted).This is an Indonesian and Malaysian dish usually served with steamed rice.

7. Ayam Cabai hijau- This literally translates to Green Chilli Chicken .Delicious roasted chicken pieces served with green chilli paste as topping.

8. Udang Kari: For those who love shrimps and prawns this is must try. The word Udang means shrimps/prawns and Kari means Curry. The word Udang Kari means Prawns Curry. This is creamy since the shrimps are cooked in coconut milk.

9. Ayam Masak Sambal Tumis : The word translates to stir fired chicken in Sambal sauce. (Ayam- Chicken,Masak- cook, Sambal- is the spicy sauce used in indonesian recipes, tumis – stir fry).

10. Kari Ikan-The word Kari means Curry and Ikan means Fish. For those who love fish check out dishes with the word Ikan. Kari Ikan simply means Fish Curry.

11. Oseng Tempe Tohu: This is a vegetarian dish made of Tofu and many vegetables. For vegetarians this is a great option. Highly rich in protein. This is a very healthy option as well.
