Beach Days at Goa

We all love our beach Holidays. Our trip to India was incomplete without visiting GOAAAA. The highlight of this times visit was our stay in beach hut at Agonda Beach. As you reach Agonda beach you can see plenty of beach huts. We chose to stay in a furnished wooden hut at Agonda Paradise.
Since our trip was during Nov it was off-season hence we were lucky to get the huts at the front facing the beach. Wow!!! what an amazing location. In case you ever decide to stay in a beach hut make sure to choose the ones with the beach view. The view from the beach hut is mesmerizing during the day and a bliss during the night. Most beaches in Goa have beach huts were you can stay. The tides at Agonda beach are quite low. Due to low tides you can go quite deep in the beach and still the water level stays at knee level. Though going too deep is risky since the seabed is not so strong after a particular level. We played for hours in the beach since the water was quite clean because of the low tides.
Photography is an excellent way to capture the beauty around us:
In Case you don’t get the beach huts with the beach view, it’s alright since the once without direct beach view are beautifully maintained as well.
Goa is Known for it’s Seafood. Those who love Seafood , should definitely give it a try.
At last! night is here .We went to the beach. We were asked not to go too far since it was dark .Hence we had fun on the shore .Switched on the night mode in the cam and clicked selfies .I tried clicking a pic of our Beach Hut as well .
Have you ever been near the beach at Night.
If Yes, then I am sure you know how beautiful the whole atmosphere is.
The cool breeze, the night sky and the shinning bright stars. We played for a while at the beach at night and got back to our huts when it became darker.
Just in case your answer to my question is No.
Plan a trip , Pack your bags and go have fun😉😎.
Once we were ready for the day’s trip we started our road trip to Palolem beach. This is yet another amazing beach in Goa.
Note: You might find two routes connecting Agonda to Palolem. A little Suggestion stick to the route connecting to the main road area since here you’ll find well constructed roads . The other route is the short cut ,leopard’s valley route. We had traveled by both the routes. The Leopard’s valley route has, poor roads that runs through the forest area. We took this route during the day and realized it will be quite an imprudent decision if you decide to travel this way at night. Pls do not take it if you are travelling at night. Stick to the route connecting the main road .
Leopard’s valley route :
We then reached Palolem beach. You can’t really go play in this beach for hours together like we did at Agonda beach. There are two reasons:first because the beach waters contain lot of tiny sea animals like small crabs, star fishes and unlike the other usual beaches sea shells found near the shore will have the crustaceans (alive)in them. The second reason is that you’ll find many small boats in this beach near the shore with drivers waiting to take passengers to nearby islands Most of the people come to palolem to visit the nearby islands and so did we.
This beach is a treat to Photography lovers . Here are few pics that I took before our island hopping begun:
We were first taken to the middle of the ocean to see Dolphins. They are such adorable creatures of the ocean, popping up and jumping back into the sea immediately. It was lovely watching them jump and play in the open ocean.
Next the island hopping began,we went to Honeymoon island. It’s a very small island we were given 30-45 min to be in the island. This is were you click your lovely selfies at the perfect rocky sea shore.
Few photos taken en-route to Honeymoon Island.
Finally we were taken to Butterfly Island, there was no sea shore as such you need to swim to go to this island. They will take you to this island if you insist but remember work on your swimming skills well before you decide to go to this island. If you don’t know swimming they will probably not take you to this island. An interesting note:This is the island where the Bollywood movie song “Kaho Na Pyaar Hai” was filmed.
You’ll find the streets of Agonda and Palolem filled with stores selling different kinds of wooden handicrafts, clothes, handbags, paintings, my personal favourite Antique Jewellery and many more.
I have always wanted to write travel blogs and I am glad I have finally been able to share few of my travel experiences with you all. Do check out the category “Travel to learn more” to know more about such lovely destinations and fun things to do at these places.
