“ 3 Easy ways to never lead a monotonous and dull life ever again”.
Quotidian tasks of our daily lives gets boring especially since we tend to lose our curiosity and interest in doing the work and the task becomes a routine. This is not because the daily work becomes dull, it is because we stop enjoying our own company and at some point we forget to enjoy what we do.
How do you feel when you first move to a new place ? We are excited about everything aren’t we. We look forward to setting up of our new home, get busy with shopping , check out new ideas of interior designing , buy home decors from IKEA etc, look for jobs, check out new places in the city, try out different cuisines, etc.
It is only later when these same tasks becomes a routine that we all get bored and the work stress further exacerbates the situation.
In case you are looking for a way to break the boredom then here is a simple trick. I remember the tastiest sandwich that my mom makes .I could hardly distinguish that one special ingredient that makes the taste of the sandwich this delicious. This is what inspired me to think of our daily chores differently.
Here are three ideas that helps you to enjoy even the most monotonous chores of our daily lives.
1)Squeeze your daily chores in between two activities that you love to do-Just like how mom makes the sandwich. This actually helps because your life becomes similar to the tasty sandwich .We will no longer find any particular task boring.
I chose swimming and blogging. Swimming gives me a visceral happiness of being on a holiday/vacation. For those who love water like how I do swimming is a great stressbuster. Swim and let all your stress and boredom float away.
2)What would you choose among the two: 1)Do what you enjoy and 2) Enjoy everything that you do. If you choose to enjoy everything that you do, you will know how to handle the stress. Our body and mind acts in sync and this way you will be able to stay sanguine in every stressful situation and enjoy even the most dull chores of everyday life .
I’ll explain how. Well most of us love travelling. We all love taking a break ,packing our backpacks and travelling to a new place/country and exploring the place. In case we are busy with a particular schedule in life and are currently not in a position to take leave and go for a long vacation there is something for us too. We often forget to explore the place we live in. Why not enjoy the usual daily MRT travel, or our bus journey to our workplace. Listening to music and travelling that doubles my joy of travelling.
In case we get some free time in our day we could always go out and check out new places nearby. This will definitely be refreshing as well as will satisfy our wish to take a break and travel.At least this way we might no longer complain and go to work with a frown on our face.
It is not the work that is boring it is just our mind-set .Our mind definitely could use a break. You need not always pressurize yourself to do all the work. Take breaks consider it charging breaks since we need to charge our batteries as well for proper functioning.

3) “ Learn from nature”- We often rush to work or in case of home makers most of us are busy with our usual daily tedious household work.
Plants and trees, have you ever heard them complain about not being able to move and having to stand there all day throughout the year or does the sun say it is boring rising every day and decide not to rise for a change.
Nature does the same routine tasks with such grace we should do it as well. When we are assailed with our same tiresome daily routine look at the nature around you and remember this “It’s a new day rise and shine”-Every day is a new day and each work that we do today is a new piece of work for the day.
This way our lives will not longer get monotonous ever again.
